Meet Emmie Chase

Emmie Chase, along with her husband and two children, has called Jacksonville home for the past 15 years. Her life’s journey has taught her the art of finding joy and hope in the midst of pain and suffering. She has a compassionate heart and a deep desire to offer hope to others through the love of Jesus.

Following her passion, Emmie earned a Master’s degree in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, with a focus on spiritual direction and grief counseling. She currently leads the healing prayer ministry at Christ Episcopal Church in Ponte Vedra, where she also walks alongside others as a Spiritual Director through the Center for Spirituality.
Part of Emmie’s story includes parenting a child who faces mental health challenges. Through both her professional training and personal experience, she aspires to help parents navigate the complexities of supporting their teens’ mental health while offering hope along the way.

In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time in nature, whether walking along the beach, hiking in North Carolina, or engaging in photography. She also participates in women’s retreats, book studies, pilates and weekly group meditation. She aims to foster healing and spiritual growth in others through journaling, prayer, and women’s retreats.
